What? I thought hockey players were the only "good" pro athletes left?

I've never heard anyone talk about them as low lifes or thugs. I don't follow hockey, and have only been to 2 games in my life (both minor leagues), but I've only ever heard people talk about hockey players as the last "people's athlete," who you can identify with (i.e. average sized) and sometimes meet and talk to. "Regular guys" I hear a lot.
